I am the keeper of secrets, a fast food chef, meltdown negotiator, social secretary, teacher, speech therapist, personal shopper, activity coordinator, entertainer, family law enforcer and totally blessed to be called “mom, mom, mom, mom, mom” by a 9 year old boy {O} and 5 year old girl {E}.

My husband and I have been married for 11 years. We strieve to use our marriage as a platform to show our kids how to love, respect and compromise. They see us hug, kiss and hold hands every single day. He would be perfect if it wasn’t for the piles of stuff he leaves around, his choice to snarf back snot instead of grabbing a tissue and his ability to remove his socks with his toes by creating one giant , damp, smelly ball.

Our life is in a constant state of controlled chaos. Oxymoron? Contradiction? Maybe … follow along and find out how I balance my many roles and battle the stereotypes that come along with being a housewife.
